About the Groundwater Committee
The committee’s mission is to review and report to the membership on the region’s groundwater resources, their development, use, and management. The committee reviews technical literature, groundwater development, revisions in relating regulations, and other aspects of the groundwater supply.
Groundwater Committee activities include:
- Coordinating groundwater-related seminars
- Running the Groundwater Resources Initiative (GRI)
- Identify a recipient and present the annual David M. Erickson Groundwater Award
- Co-sponsor the Water Resources and Sustainability Symposium
