About the Financial Management Committee
The committee’s mission is to review and disseminate information of special interest to utilities on financial management such as infrastructure financing, asset management, financial planning, accounting practices, rate setting, tax procedures, and utility expenditures and revenue. The committee also strives to promote the development and use of sound principles in financial management and in the design and application of water rates and other charges, and develop seminars, conference and meeting sessions, and reports and Journal proceedings on these topics.
