About the Water Treatment Plant Residuals Committee
The committee aims to study and report on areas related to drinking water treatment plant residuals management. The committee makes recommendations to the NEWWA board on processing, disposal, and beneficial reuse of WTP residuals, related water works practice issues/technology, regulatory/permitting requirements, and technology transfer.
