Call for Papers
NEWWA conferences and meetings provide information on a wide range of water works topics. The Program Committee is soliciting abstracts of presentations for upcoming monthly meetings and conferences. The committee is interested in topics related to all areas of the water profession including, but not limited to:
Treatment Technology • Distribution Maintenance • Safety or Other Personnel Management Areas • Distribution System Upgrades • Demand Management & Conservation • Customer Service • Water Utility Financing • Regulations • Water Supply-Related Case Studies • Management Innovations • Public Communication or Outreach • Source Water Protection • Watershed Management • Information Technology and Innovation • Benchmarking/Quality Utility Service • Water Quality

Each person submitting an abstract will create a NEW user account for OpenWater, NEWWA’s new abstract submission portal. This account is separate from your NEWWA.org user account.

THE ASSOCIATION DOES NOT PROVIDE HONORARIUMS OR REIMBURSE TRAVEL EXPENSES TO SPEAKERS AT CONFERENCES OR MEETINGS. SPEAKERS WILL RECEIVE A DISCOUNTED CONFERENCE REGISTRATION. SPEAKERS CHOSEN FOR THE SEPTEMBER ANNUAL CONFERENCE MUST SUBMIT A WRITTEN PAPER AT THE CONFERENCE. A WRITTEN PAPER CAN BE ANY LENGTH. IT MUST INCLUDE OBJECTIVES, BACKGROUND, A SUMMARY OF WHAT OCCURRED, AND THE CONCLUSION OR RESULTS OF THE PROJECT.
NOTE: A Copy Transfer Agreement must be signed by all those submitting a paper.
