Course Description
This advanced level course has been specifically designed and developed to provide training in the professional skills required to become a Certified Cross Connection Control Surveyor. The three day, 17 hour instructional format covers key technical, regulatory, procedural and ethical responsibilities in an in-depth fashion. Building on the individuals' pre-requisite knowledge obtained as a Certified Backflow Prevention Device Assembly Inspector, or by attendance at the one-day Introduction to Cross Connection Control Surveying Seminar, individuals will move through a detailed curriculum (listed in the course outline) which includes multi-media (slides, videotape, prints and drawings) classroom instruction and a field survey component. The final day of the course will conclude in a written examination whose goal will be to thoroughly assess the knowledge and skills that form the basics for the art and science of professional cross connection control surveying.

Cancellation Policy: If you cannot attend you must contact NEWWA in writing two business days prior to the start of this program to request a refund or credit minus a $30 administrative fee. If you contact NEWWA within one business day you will be charged 100% of the original course registration fee. This charge is non-refundable and non-transferable. Written refund/credit request made for special circumstances will be considered if received within two weeks from the start date of this program. Credit issues are valid for six months from the date of this program.
