Course Title: Drinking Water Operators Exam Review Classes - Course A: Distribution Grades ID and IID

Course Description
This course will help you prepare for Grade D1 and D2 exams. Certification as a Grade D1 or D2 distribution operator allows entry into the distribution sector of the drinking water field. The course has been specifically tailored to meet the need of those taking either or both exams. Topics covered include: basic math, pumps, pipe installation and maintenance, services, meters, valves, hydrants, backflow prevention, storage reservoirs, basic hydraulics, disinfection, records and regulations. The texts were specifically selected for these review courses. They have been tailored to meet the needs of the student and are focused to address the new examination and operator certification grade structure. Distribution courses will utilize "Water Distribution System Operation and Maintenance", 5th ed. (California State University, Sacramento) and the newly released "Operators Certification Study Guide 5th ed." (ABC/AWWA).

If you contact NEWWA within one business day you will be charged 100% of the original course registration fee. This charge is non-refundable and non-transferable. Written refund/credit request made for special circumstances will be considered if received within two weeks from the start date of this program. Credit issues are valid for six months from the date of this program.
